That the Court shall pass sentence of death by decapitation with the sword, as it is said, “He shall surely be avenged”*Cp. “And I will bring a sword upon you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant” (Lev. 26:25). (Ex. 21:20).
Leviticus 26:25
