Maimonides

To bring the first-fruits to the Sanctuary, as it is said, “The very first of the first-fruits of thy land (thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord, thy God)” (Ex. 23:19).

Exodus 23:19

KJV
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
ASV
The first of the first-fruits of thy ground thou shalt bring into the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.
